Andrzej Wojtas and Ewelina Aleksandrowicz are UK based artists who are working within the area of digital media – video, DIY electronics, physical computing and AV performance.
Their practice involves a wide range of interdisciplinary activities from video art and short forms to circuit bending, and wearable technologies.
They have collaborated on many varied audio-visual performances / video installations / experimental videos and workshops. Currently they are actively working at Culture Lab – a Digital Media hub at Newcastle University, exploring fields of video / soundart / performative structures / interactive images, developing number of collaborative projects. Their works are exploring issues of materiality / time / transformation of entity / urban landscape / body and gender. They are constantly trying to challenge the viewer with their disturbing visual poetry and atmospheric cinematic experience.
