Friday 14 July – Saturday 15 July 2017

£30 for members / £60 for non-members
(includes return travel in mini-bus and 1 night shared accommodation in hostel)

NewBridge is off on a road trip to Manchester!

We will be there for the closing weekend of Manchester International Festival – and we’ll be heading to lots of exhibitions, artist-led spaces and studios whilst we’re there.

On Friday we’ll be in Salford and will be meeting some of the folks from the International 3, Islington Mill and the new Paradise Works studios, plus looking round some galleries and exhibitions in the area – so it’s a great opportunity to meet some new people and organisations.

On Saturday we’ll be heading to loads of different exhibitions and events happening across the city as part of the Manchester International Festival.

Bookable and paid events as part of Manchester International Festival are not included in this price – please see here for a full list of events, and book on if you are interested. Please note that we will be driving back to Newcastle on Saturday evening so don’t book anything too late in the day!

To book a place please email admin@thenewbridgeproject.com with a very short paragraph detailing why you’d like to attend. Spaces are limited. We will set off at 9am Friday morning and return late Saturday evening.

If you are interested in just travel (from Newcastle) or just accommodation (if you are making your own way there from elsewhere in the country) then let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

This event is programmed as part of Practice Makes Practice, an artist development programme run by artists for artists. Practice makes Practice focuses on developing artistic talent and equipping artists with the necessary skills to manage their practice, bridging the gap between art school, studio practice, the gallery and beyond.
