Kati Karki

I’m an artist working with writing, making works individually where voices emerge in forms of spoken word narratives floating at times on top of video footage or in the room. By exploring everyday activities, fragmented time, the in-between, self and its relations to the Other I keep simply exploring the condition of being human and what it means now, under the conditions of the post welfare, the neoliberal, the anthropocenic. Occasionally my works take shape in printed form as little pocket books of personal zen memoir. In the past two years my focus has also sifted more on organising collective writing moments and how they correlate with my personal writing.
