I build things – such as walls, boxes, tunnels. They are experiments with elements of architecture, and invitations to experience space. You step into, lie down in, or even slide through them.

My sculptural installations are made out of various materials and assembled to, for example, a tunnel leading into an enclosed space, a double-bed-structure or a semi-translucent tent-dome. They derive from specific spacial situations (exhibition spaces), as much as from the pleasure of using diverse materials (that come with their own history and purpose).

Everyday I take photos on walks, and keep sketchbooks to make sense of the world I encounter. Walking, photography, sketching, model-making, as well as the larger sculptural work, all feed into each other.
