The NewBridge Programme Committee is a vital part of our artist-led approach to programming, ensuring that many voices, interests and practices are represented through NewBridge’s exhibitions, commissions and events.
The Programme Committee has been crucial in developing exhibitions, projects and events at NewBridge since the organisation was founded in 2010. We believe in many voices being represented through our projects and exhibitions, and will work with the Committee to enable new narratives, methodologies and approaches to emerge across our programme.
Every two years we recruit a group of 3-8 committee members who work together with us to create a programme that is based on collaboration, is responsive to our social, political, civic and environmental context.
Our most recent committee included artists, curators, writers and organisers: Holly Argent, Ellie Armon Azoulay, Dan Goodman, Kaan K, Shelly Knotts, and Seymour Mace. Together they developed and produced a public programme at NewBridge from September 2024 to 2025. The cohort interests span from music, performance, comedy, publishing, DJ-ing, and curating to queerness, solidarity, coding, community organising and librarianship.
