Bartira Sena

Bartira Sena is an artist working with sound, installation, public art and performance. Her work focuses predominantly upon the use of found objects, analog technologies, diy and lo- tech, hacking and cracking techniques to explore sound/music and comment on materiality of technology, sustainability, pop and folk cultures. She is currently a candidate in the Creative Arts Practice MA course in Newcastle University, UK. Her research investigates the relationships between spiritual practices
and experiences in the context of a heavily technology mediated post- digital. She lives and works in Brazil and the UK and has had her work shown in Brazil, UK, Mexico, Germany and Italy.
