George takes inspiration from cultural imagery, past and present, and often searches for a link between the two. His practice experiments with various disciplines including drawing, printing and tattooing, and subject matter stems from an interest in the origins and transfer of cultural imagery. He is fascinated with religion, cult, myth and folk tradition, tracing the origins of these stories and seeing how they are or can be interpreted in the context of a modern world.
