Gus Beamish is a multimedia artist working with sound and text. He is interested in the fens, collectivity and utopian imaginaries.
Gus was born in East Anglia, but has spent the most time living and organising in London. Gus is interested in collaboratively-made text and sound, and forms of horizontal organisation. In the past, this has taken the form of workshops, club nights, skill-shares, community gardens, and after-school clubs. He plays in several bands as well as DJing and producing music by himself.
