Haaris is a filmmaker, and part of the student lead TV station NUTV at Newcastle University. His work spans comedic sketches, animation, and investigative pieces. He is interested in creating films that can effect social action, and has written and produced work that celebrates diversity and migration based in both Bradford and Newcastle.
