By finding meaning in the repetition of objects or experiences in daily life, Jasmine uses these within artistic processes to create emblems of human experience. Common themes are that of “searching” and projecting the psyche, representation of the self through debris and data, and intricacies in interpersonal communication.
Because the process is individually responsive to the subject matter, the works are often created in series’, which investigate the subject through imagery. Jasmine has also conducted workshops which playfully investigate the way people can be together, make together, and communicate.
