Installation and conceptual artist Ji Soo Kang is interested in the creating a ground for one to question and works with various mediums to realize her ideas. Her works recreate and question how power and authority work. She focuses on the theatrical tools used to reinforce authority, and exams and recreates the elements of authority to make the audience question the validity of the established power. Her recent series of works that were inspired by religious symbols and ceremonies show her question of authority. She exchanges an element to provoke doubt.
