Julia works with analogue photography processes using a range of films and printing processes such as silver gelatin, cyanotype, Van Dyke and gum bichromate. Using light and texture to set an ethereal tone, these analogue processes become a lens to examine and reinterpret the past and explore the connection between self, community and environment.
