In my collage practice, I use appropriated images found in used magazines and books. Interested in ambiguity and abstraction offered by collage, I reconnect ‘the imaginary’ and ‘the real’, transforming the familiar into the new. The freshly produced images remain open in meaning and interpretation.
In my print-making practice, I experiment with a variety of techniques, including screen printing and cyanotype. By transforming the original collages into prints and combining collage and print-making to produce new work, I divert images from their original context to recreate a new reality freed from all conventions.
