I am continually thinking about the affect of our condition (one of creeping fascism, neoliberalism, environmental toxicity, accelerating time) and where are the holes that allow us to resist or find space for new realities to play out. I work in response to place & time, practicing methods of cartography, documenting & scoring – my work generally manifests in forms such as writing, video, sound, performance and collective time-based events. I am currently pre-occupied with ways of re-imagining time to create spaces of resistance that exist outside of the chrononormative, capitalist, high performance clock. I am interested in working collaboratively to create opportunities for radical learning experiences. I also make music under the pseudonym samstykkja.
