Katy Cole

Katy Cole (b. 1981) is a visual artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Cole’s work encompasses collage, drawing, painting and installation to explore potential future environments. She manipulates scale and imagery to traverse the line between the actual and the fantastical. Combining science fact and fiction, she examines the human will to explore, inhabit and capitalise on the unknown.
