My practice is interdisciplinary, with a focus on studio work, incorporating sculpture, textiles, printmaking and drawing, through which I have been investigating inherent qualities of materials, and what it means to ‘live within a body’ negotiating/experiencing/encountering spaces and objects/ materials in the world. Making sculptural representations of these concerns. I am fascinated by surface and what happens to objects when they are transferred and transformed through process. What happens when you put the same object through different processes? What ‘sticks’ to it and is incorporated into its identity?
