In my practice, I initially source available material culture to research often overlooked narratives of social history.
It’s through this process that I interpret working methods to acknowledge the topic – exploring tensions between the ephemeral and the legacy. There is a certain praxis in my work between material culture and meaning, and my methodological approach is informed by my inclination to research as practice. My working methods and materials are often shaped by available archives.
