If you can get to the space in Shieldfield, Newcastle, you can book an appointment to visit and spend as long as you need in the space. We will leave you alone for some privacy, and be on hand nearby if you have any questions. We staff the space every Tuesday, but can be available at other times by appointment.
If you can't physically visit the space we can offer virtual appointments, a member of our team can give you a tour of our space via photos or video chat, to display and describe the clothes in detail. Any items you'd like will then be posted to you.
We are a group of volunteers who run the space as a resource for the community. We are always happy to welcome new members to help or advise.
We were driven to set up the space and create something useful and positive in the face of transphobic rhetoric circulated in the press.
