Born in 1997 in Donetsk, Ukraine, Yuliya Makogon lives and works in Kyiv. She graduated in 2023 from the École Supérieure d’Art de Tourcoing (France) with a BA and MA in Fine Arts, focusing her research on the interpretations and distortions of Ukrainian collective memory. She has presented her work in group exhibitions in France, notably in Lille, and has participated in film festivals in France and the United Kingdom.
