A Bizarre World of Plants
NewBridge Bookshop hosted an exhibition celebrating 5 years of The Plant Magazine – a curious observer of ordinary plants and other greenery, the magazine brings together photographers, illustrators, designers, musicians, writers and visual artists from all over the world to share their love for plants. “A Bizzare World of Plants” featured excerpts from the magazine’s 5-year history, work from illustrator contributors of The Plant.
Additionally we presented an archive of botanical publications, and a very special green installation by Dr George Wake, chairman and fundraiser of the Northumbria Branch of the British Cactus and Succulent Society.
