Join us for a free exhibition by local young artists.
BreakOut is a celebration of young people’s artwork from Newcastle College and Walker Riverside Academy, who have joined us for a series of workshops exploring what it means to be an artist in the North East today. What do they need to BreakOut of in order to break into a career in the arts?
With support from local artists, and through exploring art forms chosen by the young people themselves. Forms include ceramics, print, illustration, photography, and tattoo design. This exhibition will be led by the new generation of North East artists.

“I had no idea that NewBridge did so much stuff and I can’t believe today has been free to attend. I feel like I have so much to think about now I just feel inspired and actually excited about my future as an artist!”
