Cuttings: Workshop with Kaan K and Leo Hargreaves

This is the first in a series of events holding space for collective grieving. The space will be held by poet, drag king and organiser Kaan K and gardener and facilitator Leo Hargreaves.

We will co-build the altar together – you are invited to bring your own houseplant or select one from our collection, or bring along a photograph, object, symbol or memory that represents someone or something you are grieving. All grief is welcome – whether this is grief of a death, grief for what could have been, grief for relationships lost… it is all welcome in the space. There will be activities that invite reflection, remembering and sharing – though there is absolutely no obligation to participate or share anything beyond what makes you feel comfortable.

All genders are welcome, and we ask cisgender people to be respectful, as this is a space organised around Transgender Day of Remembrance.

The event is free but ticketed – book below. Refreshments will be provided throughout.
