Celebrate Enkutatash, Ethiopian New Year, and to mark the start of Pagume, the five-day long 13th ‘special month’ in the Ethiopian calendar. This event and exhibition are the result of Tigist Tegegne’s year-long residency at The NewBridge Project.

የኢትዮጵያን የአዲስ አመት እና ልዩ የጳጉሜን ወር በኢትዮጵያ የዘመን አቆጣጠር አብረን እናክብር። የጳጉሜ ወር የመጀመሪያዉን ቀን ብስራት ሲሆን ጷጉሜ የአምስት ቀን ርዝመት ያላት በኢትዮጵያ ቀን አቆጣጠር 13ኛዋ ልዩ ወር ትባላለች ።ይህ ዝግጅትና አዉደርዕይ ለአንድ አመት የቆየ የትዕግስት ተገኘ በኒውብሪጅ ፕሮጀክት የተዘጋጀ ነው፡፡

Tigist is an author, chef, and former teacher from Ethiopia. She works as the Chef Coordinator at Dwellbeing Shieldfield and collaborates with The Big River Bakery.
Tigist also runs her own business, Rekebot Ethiopia, offering authentic Ethiopian food and coffee at the Quayside Market every Sunday.
For the past year Tigist has been chef-in-residence at The NewBridge Project.

ሙያ ኢትዮጵያ አገልግላለች በአሁኑ ሰአት ደግሞ በድወልቢንግ ሽልድፊልድ የምግብ ባለሙያዎች አስተባባሪ ሆና ትሰራለች በተጨማሪም በቢግ ሪቨር ዳቦ ቤት በመስራት ላይ ትገኛለች።
ትዕግስት በኪሳይድ ዘወትር እሁድ ረከቦት ኢትዮጵያ በተባለው ድርጅቷ የኢትዮጵያን ባህላዊ ምግብና ቡናን ታቀርባለች።
