Following the fun we had last year (which resulted in encapsulating a Collective Studio member in dough) we’ve again invited Laura White up to run an experimental workshop exploring materiality.
Together will explore how our bodies relate, negotiate and deal with materials/objects/stuff. The day will begin with a short Materiality Talk by Laura followed by a two-phased workshop.
This will be of interest to all everyone interested in STUFF, regardless as to whether your art practice is about materiality. Last year’s workshop taught us that getting invited into someone else’s world inspires all kinds of possibilities for your own imaginations!
Please bring along an object or material you enjoy handling.
Please also bring along anything from the list below you have at home.
Bring a packed lunch or money for lunch from the nearby shops, we’ll provide tea, coffee and soft drinks for free.

This event is programmed as part of The Collective Studio, an early career artist development programme, but is open to everyone. Look out for the open call for the Collective Studio 2019-20 soon.
