This summer join us for a series of Open Rehearsals and gatherings with artists working with performance, sound, noise, and dance. Continuing ideas of convening and connection, the Abundance installation becomes a space to gather with others and a set for artists to test out ideas-in-progress.
During the third Open Rehearsal, Chloë Sayers will be playing and experimenting with ideas for a new series of works titled ‘soft bodies’.
What does it mean to be soft? How can we welcome softness into our bodies? Through drawing, writing and choreographic scores, Chloë will be exploring these ideas, with visitors welcome to contribute a drawing or piece of text.

Chloë Sayers (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berwick-upon-Tweed. With a background in choreography, her practice explores relationships between people and place, bodies and landscapes, and often takes place outdoors.
Chloë’s practice is one that is fluid and shifting, but often encompasses moving image, performance, installation and writing. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally including Salty Island Studio (Taiwan), Råneåbiennalen (Sweden), SPILL Festival (UK) and Limerick City Gallery of Art (Ireland).
