One-to-one Advice Sessions: 2 – 5pm FREE, Each session will be 30 minutes (NB: ALL THESE SESSIONS ARE NOW ALLOCATED)

Talk: 5.15 – 6pm FREE (£3 Deposit to be returned on attendance – reserve a place here)

One-to-one Advice Sessions

Are you in the middle of writing an application, or have a project in mind but don’t know whether it is suitable? Then sign up for a one-to-one advice session, where you can chat about your project and get advice on where, how and what to apply for.

To book a place for the one-to-one advice sessions, please email admin@thenewbridgeproject.com with a short paragraph detailing why you would like an advice session and what you would like to discuss. Spaces for this are limited and you must be a NewBridge Studio or Associate member to apply.



Don’t have a specific project in mind but want to know more?

Sam will give a talk (5.15-6pm) and introduction to grant writing and applying to Arts Council England.

She will share practical advice on writing an application; looking at areas such as; project eligibility, the online portal Grantium, and will give general advice on sections and questions within the application.

This event is programmed as part of Practice Makes Practice, an artist development programme run by artists for artists. Practice makes Practice focuses on developing artistic talent and equipping artists with the necessary skills to manage their practice, bridging the gap between art school, studio practice, the gallery and beyond.
