The NewBridge Project
Dance Club is a fortnightly movement improvisation session, hosted as part of Practice Makes Practice. It is an off-kilter school disco where anyone is welcome to come and shake their hips, wiggle a leg, or roll on the floor and more.
Dance Club will involve a short improv sessions- focused on play and exploration – led by a range of movers and dancers, followed by dedicated time for open improv, accompanied by a range of music to get you in the groove.
No dance training necessary, willingness to dance preferable.

This event was programmed as part of Practice Makes Practice, an artist development programme run by artists for artists. Practice makes Practice focuses on developing artistic talent and equipping artists with the necessary skills to manage their practice, bridging the gap between art school, studio practice, the gallery and beyond.
Accessibility: NewBridge Studios has limited accessibility, this event will take place in the Co-Work space on the first floor of NewBridge Studios. We regret, due to the age of our building and its change of use we do not have a functioning lift.
