Are you in the middle of writing an application?
Do you have a project in mind but don’t know where to look for funding?
Do you know who to apply to but don’t know how or what to do?
Have you got loads of successful bids under you belt and are keen to share hints and tips?
This surgery is for you!
Come along to this peer-led funding advice surgery, where NewBridge members will be on-hand to share advice on areas such as; different funding sources, application writing and budgets.
They will be sharing their experience of writing successful (and unsuccessful!) applications and grants, so feel free to bring work-in-progress applications along and ask questions.
There will be opportunities to go through approaches to problems 1-on-1 or in a group.
Your hosts will be:
Matt Pickering: a dab-hand at securing Arts Council support.
Dawn Knox: a past-master at getting funding for arts projects.
Charlie Gregory: keeps the NewBridge show on the road.
Practice Makes Practice is an artist development programme run by artists for artists. Practice makes Practice focuses on developing artistic talent and equipping artists with the necessary skills to manage their practice, bridging the gap between art school, studio practice, the gallery and beyond.
