RSVP to Dan Russell
The next Social Practice Forum is on Tuesday 26th March, 6-8pm. It’ll be at the NewBridge Project’s Gateshead Gallery and will take place amongst the upcoming exhibition, Workforce, an exhibition all about navigating the precarious worlds of work and art. Contributors to our ongoing project, Socially Awkward (which is looking at ways round the obstacles to working with people) will test out some of their approaches for everyone to get involved with and discuss, and we’ll undertake an exercise to gauge the social-practice-landscape of the North East ahead of the national Social Art Network’s Assembly at the Tate Modern in April.
Contributors to our Socially Awkward project Sara Qued and Elaine Robertson will share their Akml story and Conny project respectively and NewBridge’s own Dan Russell will introduce an exercise about the values we live by and frames we view the world through.
