As part of the NewBridge Project’s Programme Committee for 2019-20 we are looking at new and progressive models of commissioning.
In order to draw up a set of principles and direction we have invited Nicola Singh and Lady Kitt to share their recent experiences of both sides of commissioning (choosing artists and attempting to be chosen!).
In an informal discussion they’ll cover things including avoiding subconscious biases, collaborative commissioning processes and subverting the organisation/artist dynamic.
