To celebrate the opening of Shieldfield Home, our exciting winter exhibition showcasing art made by those who work and live in Shieldfield, join us for a Saturday at The NewBridge Project full of family friendly, free activity!
We will be celebrating the opening of Shieldfield Home and the public launch of our Dark Room, a space for photography development and future sight of creative community activity. Get stuck in with a family-friendly craft activity, explore our exciting winter exhibition, as well as learn more about what we do at The NewBridge Project. Create/Disrupt have launched their own pop-up exhibition in their lower ground floor studio exploring art making as a form of play. Finally, enjoy a free meal provided by local community caterers.
12pm – 8pm: Gallery Open
12pm – 5pm: Dark Room Workshops (Booking Required)
Join artists and resident Dark Room facilitators Phyllis Christopher and Janina Sabaliauskaite to learn how to make a photogram using light and collage. A pop-up exhibition by Create/Disrupt of individual and collaborative work. The show is based around the idea of approaching art making as a form of play.

1pm – 3pm: Paper-based craft activities (Drop-In)
Come make Christmas decorations and other paper crafts in The NewBridge Project Gallery where Shieldfield Home is on show to the public!
