Speed Dreamers is a regular painting group / workshop hosted at The NewBridge Project. Our aim is to make inspiration easy. Each month we will focus on a new topic and learn together. The workshop is guided by the tutor, but peer learning and conversation is encouraged. This workshop is for people of all abilities and aims to be inclusive. If you have any access requirements, please let me know.

This month we will focus on composing an image using acrylic paint. We will use found images and tracing paper to create a composition in paint. Materials will be provided.

Please arrive promptly to the front entrance between 6pm – 6.15pm. The doors will be closed after. Children must be supervised by an adult if they wish to attend. If you require access please call the workshop leader. (Number provided in confirmation email.)

Concessions are available for those who cannot afford a full price ticket for any reason.

Mark Bletcher (b.1995, UK) lives and works in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He received his BA in Fine art from Newcastle University (2019). Bletcher was a recipient of the Gwen May award from Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (2020), shortlisted for the Woon Art Prize (2019) and the Young Contemporary Artist Award (2020). He is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Award (2023-4). He has exhibited with Ohsh Projects (2023) Northen Print (2023), Newcastle Contemporary (2022) and Gallager and Turner (2022).
