NewBridge Books Late Show Sale!

NewBridge Books will be opening its doors alongside The NewBridge Project this year for The Late Shows on Friday May 19 2023 from 7pm - 11pm.

We will be offering discounts on a range of different items across the shop, so come and have a look at what we have in store!

Noize Choir!

Noize Choir will create a sonic score of noise for the NewBridge Project’s building! You will receive a score, prompting you to join in and sense the building through sound-making instructions.

Noize Choir is a performance ensemble by Newcastle based artists Lindsay Duncanson and Marek Gabrysch. It involves a collective of noise enthusiasts with a common desire to use the human voice free of the traditional restraints of typical choral settings, language or musical notation.

Shieldfield Ceramic Studio hosts Pop in and Paint!

A special drop in session inviting you to paint glazes onto bisque vases and tiles. Come and meet the makers and the people behind the Shieldfield Ceramic Studio, find out how we function and how to get involved. We will also have a pop up shop for the public to buy lovely little gifts.

NewBridge Print Studio workshop

The NewBridge Print Studio is run by Lydia Bailey, Niall Greaves and George Stewart. They will be hosting a series of drop-in activities for Late Show goers!

Newcastle University Fine Art 1st year student show

Throughout the evening of Friday 19 May, Fine Art 1st years from Newcastle University will be exhibiting exciting new work in our gallery space.
