Toolkit: How to Work with Residencies

Friday 8 July 2022 1 pm - 2 pm Online

What are artist residencies, why are they good for your practice, and how do you go about approaching them?

John Eng Kiet Bloomfield, Senior Programme Curator at Wysing Arts Centre will join us for a toolkit about artist residencies. Hear John talk about what they are, how Wysing approach residencies, and why they are so important for artists’ development. John will share examples and anecdotes, before opening up for your questions and responses.

This event is hosted by Eastside Projects for the Kaleidoscope Network, a collaboration between Eastside Projects, Primary (Nottingham), Spike Island (Bristol), and The NewBridge Project (Newcastle). NewBridge members are automatically part of the Kaleidoscope Network and can attend selected events programmed by each partner.
