PUBLISHER LAUNCH // UnstapledPress
UnstapledPress is a new publishing house set up by seven artists with an aim of publishing creative work involving text. Founded in May 2014, UnstapledPress have so far released three publications with a fourth being produced especially for this event. We were joined for the company’s official launch, including music, drinks, performance and, of course, books.
The evening showcased the release of Interval II, a collection of arts writing by a variety of people, from a variety of backgrounds, writing in a variety of mediums. Including poetry, critical text and short stories, there’s something for all tastes in all shapes and sizes.
The event included two spoken word performances, featuring extracts from Interval II, personally read by the authors Sophia Sutton and James Linton.
All UnstapledPress publications were made available at the event, with a wall display of the books exploded into concertinas for everyone to explore.
