These spaces located within the NewBridge Studios offer artists, curators and cultural professionals the space and creative freedom to develop new ideas and host events.
All our spaces, listed below, are available for everyone to hire, with discounted prices available for NewBridge members.

We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking and the remaining 50% on the first day of hire. We can supply equipment and refreshments but there could be an additional charge.
A white walled gallery space on the first floor of Carliol House in Newcastle. It offers flexible space to exhibit work, host events and openings, hold meetings and develop practice.
This large, multipurpose project space is available for you to create, make and initiate ideas. It could be used for exhibitions, screenings, events, workshops and performances. It can be found in the basement at Carliol House.
If you want somewhere to experiment, build and make a mess this space offers a versatile area for constructing. It can be found in the basement at Carliol House, and is not completely enclosed.
This space is usually occupied by Goldtapped, but is currently available for hire. It is a small but well-appointed space to display work at the top of the entry stairs in Carliol House.
Our large, open co-working space is the perfect venue for a workshop, talk or meeting. The windows and plants make the room bright and welcoming, and there's a range of sofas, chairs and tables to adapt to your needs.
We have a number of workshops where members and visitors can fabricate artworks with wood and ceramic, and a darkroom for analogue photo development.
