Call for Participants
Do you enjoy art, dance, writing, or music?
Do you have a story to tell?
Do you want to make a change?
Do you live in or near a tower block?
You are invited to participate in an art project inspired by the stories and lives of people in tower blocks.
Together with artist and tower block resident, Ciara Lenihan, you will have the chance to co-create a one-of-a-kind artwork based on your experiences and your voice. Ciara will be host creative workshops and communal meals in the community rooms at Molineux Court and Vallum Court throughout February, March and April.
A final showcase will take place at the end of April/beginning of May.

Ciara Lenihan is an artist and activist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Their practice explores decolonisation of the body and the self through performance, bilingual writing and moving image. As an activist they are an active member of ACORN community union, working together with the people of Newcastle to improve living conditions for all.
