“Beginning the collection during his teens, Greaves began writing about his pre-internet collection in 2021, creating an informal archive, ironically – as the exhibition material suggests – on Instagram.”

“The programme also looks at the role of arts organisations in this work, including The New Bridge Project itself – an artist-led, community-focused, multi-purpose organisation. This is a pertinent and at times messy concern in relation to this exhibition, which serves as a visual backdrop to a series of events, workshops and screenings on solidarity with local organisers and artists programmed by the gallery.”
