JOB OPPORTUNITY: Communities Producer

Salary: £30,160 pro rata (£18,096 actual for 3 days a week)

Hours: 3 days (24 hours) a week

Contract: Beginning January 2026. 1 year contract with likelihood of renewal, funding dependent.

The Communities Producer will deliver our regular neighbourhood programme; and will support the development of new projects and longer-term public commissions as part of our wider public programme.

The Communities Producer plays a key role in nurturing relationships with community groups, local residents and partners. By listening and learning from our neighbours and other interconnected communities, our spaces and programmes are developed in response to local needs and to the social, political, and environmental issues urgent to our times.

We are keen to meet candidates who share NewBridge’s values and commitment to supporting the artists and communities we work with. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and organised, excellent at project management, who centres access and inclusivity, is a good listener and can communicate with lots of different people.

Selection process

Applications will be assessed by at least two members of the NewBridge team and a we will use a matrix based on the answers given in your statement or audio/video application. This scoring matrix is based on the skills and experience outlined in the Person Specification, and how well you demonstrate your ability to carry out the listed Main Responsibilities.

We will primarily use your statement for our assessment so please ensure any information you want us to see is in your statement rather than your CV.
