Lockdown Gazette Edition 2: Call-out for content

Lockdown Gazette Edition 2
Call-out for content

Please note: this opportunity is only open to contributors from the North East of England, to ensure we can support and connect people within our region.

We are currently pulling together content for the second edition of the Lockdown Gazette. We are looking to distribute a newspaper that will spread a little joy as well as connect people through stories and experiences. This can be existing material, or new ideas.

We’re looking for a variety of content so we can produce a paper that will be enjoyed by all age groups: Cartoons, artworks, illustrations, activities, puzzles, useful resources, poetry, short stories, recipes, etc.

We are open to all ideas, but would be really interested in work that reflects on experiences over lockdown, or on adapting how rules and restrictions are changing.

For example:

· Have you been involved with the Black Lives Matter movement?
· How has lockdown impacted your work and family life?
· As a school pupil – what have your experiences been over the past months?
· Are you part of a Mutual Aid group?
· Are you volunteering?
· Are you home schooling?
· Have you been helped by volunteers?
· Are you shielding?
· What next?

Please do not send:
Content that requires digital access such as QR codes and links
