Our new Programme Director, Frances Stacey!

Following an internal recruitment process and interview, we are delighted to announce that Frances Stacey has been appointed as our new Programme Director at The NewBridge Project.

The Programme Director is a pivotal role within the organisation, and will provide creative, strategic and operational leadership across NewBridge’s artistic programmes, working closely with NewBridge’s Director and the wider staff team.

Fran started the role at the beginning of April following 12 months as Interim Director at The NewBridge Project.

Frances says: 

“I am excited to be starting this new role as Programme Director and am thrilled to build upon the ambitious, locally embedded work already taking place at NewBridge. I see this as an opportunity to create space at NewBridge for longer-term commissions and will draw on my experience as a producer developing experimental films and art projects that explore collectivity, support structures, and the role of art within social, political struggles. I really look forward to creating a programme with artists, the team, committee, studio members and many other collaborators bridging artist development, commissioning, exhibitions, and community organising.”
