OPEN CALL – GROUP SHOW @ NEWBRIDGE PODCAST

Do you have a piece of work that would benefit from a new platform? Are you interested in exploring the podcast format? Or developing a new sound/audio work? Would you like to form new collaborations? Would you like to interview someone? Would you like to use this podcast for your own means?

Would you like to take part in the second series of Group Show?!

During the month of March artist and curator Caitlin Merrett King would like to work closely with NewBridge studio and associate members to record a new podcast, exploring methods of collaboration, the political nature of working with friends, friendship as emotional and feminised labour, and how we exercise care and love within art practice. The podcast will serve as an informal archive that will aim to be a useful tool for experimenting for NewBridge at that time and in the future. Caitlin is interested in giving voice to the inner workings of NewBridge, friendships and current collaborations, with a view to developing new ones, and discussing how the organisation is currently working together.

If you are interested in being involved, please send proposals or an expression of interest to the following address: caitlinmerrettking@live.co.uk

Caitlin Merrett King is an artist and curator who uses collaboration as the initial point of point of departure for her expanded artistic and curatorial practices.
