What do you make in your Shieldfield Home?

Posted: 1 November 2022

The NewBridge Project invites you to present your artworks in our exhibition Shieldfield Home!

The exhibition opens in December and will celebrate work made in Shieldfield by local artists, makers and NewBridge members!

We welcome all kinds of art, craft and creativity from drawings and paintings to photography, films and books to craft, design & digital art, floral, textiles, fashion, music & sound.

It is free to submit work and all work can be for sale – just let us know the price – and 100% of the sale will go directly to you…

We will aim to include all entries in our two-part open exhibition, where artworks will be displayed in our custom-designed showroom.

How to submit your work!

Either bring your artwork to the gallery between 23 – 25 November, between 12 – 5pm or post your artwork to NewBridge Books (if you aren’t able to bring it in), ideally to arrive between 23 – 25 November

Make sure you clearly label the work with your name, title of the work (if there is one), and a price if you want it to be for sale.

If you have any questions, can’t make those times or need help getting your artwork to us then email us, or the applications@thenewbridgeproject.com email or call 07708 195800.

About us!

The NewBridge Project is an art space and community based at the Shieldfield Centre. We opened the space to the public a year ago, and have been warmly welcomed to the area, and really enjoyed getting to know our neighbours.

This exhibition will celebrate the work of artists and makers inside and outside the building, as well as hosting a space for people to come together to learn, meet and make art.
