This fanzine showcases artwork from members of The Collective Studio and Create/Disrupt—two artist development programmes based at The NewBridge Project. The work in this fanzine—some polished, some raw—reflect the diverse, intersecting practices of NewBridge artists.
There was no set brief—just an open invitation: take part, share whatever you like, in whatever stage it’s in. The only constraints? Paper size and a two-colour Risograph. George from Overlay Press ran some sessions to help contributors get to grips with Riso printing—reducing artworks down to one or two colours and showcasing the hazy, never-quite-dry quality of Riso ink.
The Collective Studio and Create/Disrupt Fanzine was initiated by Dan Goodman and printed with George from Overlay Press.
The Collective Studio is open to anyone who considers themselves an early-career artist. Create/Disrupt is for those who haven’t been to university but are interested in exploring art.
