Evening with The White Review

We are excited to announce an evening of The White Review readings in our bookshop featuring: Luke Brown, Jennifer Hodgson, Lars Iyer and Caleb Klaces.
Luke Brown grew up near Blackpool and now lives in London. He is the author of My Biggest Lie, published by Canongate in 2013.

Jennifer Hodgson is a writer and academic based in Newcastle. She is currently working on an edited collection of the unpublished short stories of Ann Quin and on a project about inner voice and literary creativity.

Lars Iyer is a lecturer in philosophy at Newcastle University. He is the author of the novels Spurious, Dogma and Exodus, which was shortlisted for the 2013 Goldsmiths Prize, and Wittgenstein Jr. His essay ‘Nude in your hot tub, facing the abyss (A literary manifesto after the end of Literature and Manifestos)’ appeared online in The White Review in 2011; he was interviewed for the magazine by David Morris in 2013.

Caleb Klaces is the author of Bottled Air. He wrote about Attila Jozsef, W. G. Sebald and A. R. Ammons for The White Review No. 2, and published a long poem, ‘Genit-‘, in The White Review No. 12.
