The third in a regular series of meet-ups for people interested in art projects that work with the public, in whatever form that takes: socially engaged, participatory and community artists and those exploring these ways of working.
These sessions are for people to share their thoughts and approaches at all levels of experience.
This event will be led by Lady Kitt, who’ll be sharing ideas around mess making as social glue.
The event will involve sandwich making/eating so please inform us of any dietary requirements before 25th Jan and be sure to register via Eventbrite so we know how many people we are catering for.
Social Practice Forum takes its cues from similar events in Sheffield, Nottingham, London and Brighton and will connect with the people involved in these initiatives.
This event is programmed as part of Practice Makes Practice, an artist development programme run by artists for artists. Practice makes Practice focuses on developing artistic talent and equipping artists with the necessary skills to manage their practice, bridging the gap between art school, studio practice, the gallery and beyond.
