I predominantly work across drawing, printmaking and digital imaging. I’m interested in the role of emerging technology in the production of art and it’s relationship to more traditional modes of making. Lately I’ve been aiming to automate aspects of my practice using a combination of artificial intelligence software and CAD machinery, raising questions around labour, authorship and intentionality. My background is in graphic design and commercial print, I still work full time as a Mac art-worker for a print repro company, I often apply and adapt the techniques I use in my employed work to my fine art practice. My recent output has been large scale drawings on paper produced using a plotter.
