Often, the liminal falls into the uncanny valley, representing an uncomfortable in-betweeness. But so too can the liminal represent transition and transformation – change is rarely comfortable but change is often good.
12 minutes and 37 seconds explores the moment before change. Much like a waiting room, the chairlift is a threshold; a liminal space; on the precipice of something new but not quite there yet.
