‘This booklet is the culmination of a weekly Conversation Club, started at Manor Park Library and continued at Rabbits Road Institute, from July 2015 to July 2016.
The premise of a Conversation Club, and of practising speaking English, is not unique, but has been a means of having ‘conversations that matter’, of talking about personal, political and social issues, and trying to get to grips with how the things that affect our lives are connected to the bigger picture.’
