‘Conversations with Household Items – The Past Never Passes’ is about our relationship with objects in our homes, the psyche, history and experiences we have together. Partly based on ‘The Poetics of Space’ by Gaston Bachelard (1958). Also has influences from Object-Oriented Ontology, the philosophical concept of all beings, human, animal and inanimate object all having subjective experiences of the world. Sounds deep, but there is an underlying humour to it.
